Euro Asiatic Traders was established and registered under The 'Companies (Bangladesh) Act' of  the Peoples' Republic of  Bangladesh. The firm is registered with the Office of The Controller of Import & Export, Bangladesh as an Indenting Agent (Broker) and has authorization to import items from abroad. The firm is registered in the Directorate General Defense Purchase (DGDP), Ministry of Defense (MOD), Bangladesh for carrying out the Supply of Defense Stores, Spares, Repair/Overhaul jobs of aircrafts/helicopters and their engines and components especially of aircrafts of former USSR origin in use in Defense Forces of Bangladesh. The firm also supplies items/equipment to Defense Forces from other countries. The firm is a Local Agent of a number of Foreign Principal Suppliers from Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Russia, China, UAE, and USA.  

The Firm occasionally participates in tenders in Civil Sectors of Bangladesh. One recent involvement was in the Power Sector where the Firm supplied/installed Induction Motor in one Power Plant in Bangladesh in 2004.

The firm has permission of Bangladesh Bank (which is the Reserve Bank) to deal with Foreign Principals/Firms as per existing rules of the country and holds account with Export Import Bank of Bangladesh Limited (EXIM), Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The firm was established by Group Captain A F Mansoor Ahmed, psc., a retired Air Force Officer who is the Proprietor/Chairman of Euro Asiatic Traders.
